Dearest Art Aficionados,
Welcome to ‘The Virus’, a place for us at Violent Iris to post current projects, future shows, random thoughts, and miscellaneous debris.
I first want to mention our participation in the Saint Paul Art Crawl this spring on Friday, April 29th 6-10pm, Saturday, April 30th 12-8pm and Sunday, May 1st 12-5pm at the Carleton Artist Lofts in studio B404.
Once again I will be showing off and selling my photography and illustrations at the Carleton Artist Lofts. I will also introduce my awesomely new product - The Nerd Journal as seen on my Violent Iris page.
Showing in my studio along with myself will be Mark Brady, Mariah Heck, Lewis Kuhlman and Kathryn Smith. My band, Two Eyes For The Dead, is playing on Friday, April 29th at 9pm in the Carleton Artist Lofts Community Room.
Secondly, I am proud to show you the newest product by Violent Iris… The Nerd Journal: In an ironic twist of fate, the cyber technology of the 80’s is recycled into a tried and true medium for data storage. The Nerd Journal is 50 pages (25 sheets) of 110 lbs. smooth surface ivory or green paper compressed between two 5.25” floppy disks. Great for pencil, pen, ink, marker, acrylic and …practicing long hand division. Each wire bound journal is handmade with unique vintage labels.
